This website is about intentionality. It’s a concept that involves being deliberate and purposeful with your actions. Intentionality took years for me to understand and formulate in different parts of my life, like personal finance, politics and minimalist living. And of course, I’m still learning!
I was lucky enough to grow up with abundance. That wasn’t the case for my parents. I remember walking down a street with my dad and stumbling on an old, rough penny on the ground. I thought about picking it up, but decided against it… it wasn’t very pretty and looked very dirty! My dad noticed my hesitation and, disappointed, picked up the penny and proceeded to tell me about the power of compound interest. That penny, he said, could turn into a million dollars, with enough time and the right investments! Today, I’m left thinking… one penny, doesn’t make you rich. Neither does two or three. But one day, through intentionality, I’ll come across the penny that will mean I’m rich! 🙂
